And yet.... The Times reported that Police were suspicious of Jean Charles de Menezes because he was wearing a jacket on a &quot;muggy morning&quot;. Meanwhile Time magazine reported that Police suspicions were aroused because Menezes was wearing a &quot;thick coat - odd, on a hot summer day&quot;.

I checked the weather history page at Weather Underground for the day in question. London: Min 12 degrees Max 20 degrees.
